Last night I received an email from artist Lique Schoot she pointed her work out to me. At first I thought, yet another photographer with self portraits, but than I was amazed by her approach. She takes daily self portraits on camera than she turns them in to oil paintings. If you see a wall full of her paintings it's almost hallucinating, the intensity of the one and the same person looking at you in mass. Andy Warhol would be proud on this outstanding artist.

You can see her work on the next exhibitions

From February 20 - April 11: exhibition 'Portraits of the 21st century at the Gorcums Museum, Netherlands - One of the most important genres of the 21st century is the portrait. More than 20 artists show their newest vision on this subject.

and

Amazing. What a discipline making a painting every day!

Mijn God, wat een geweldig, maar vooral disciplinaire kunst.
